Andy has been studying photography since she bought her first Pentax in 1987. She graduated from Eckerd College of St. Petersburg, FL in 1995 with a BA in Visual Arts and from Morris College of Journalism of Sussex, England in 1998 with an diploma in Travel Writing and Photography. She spent time at the Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, NM in 1993 studying the techniques of Ansel Adams under one of his most esteemed apprentices. Since moving to Steamboat Springs in 1998, Andy has published her photographs in many travel and adaptive magazines.
Her experience is in snow and water sports, baby portraits, weddings, travel and scenery. Her philosophy in photography is to find a perfect balance between light and color, and to get the right composition and imagery without computer touch up.
